Sarah’s Radio career started with Snow Reporting for EDGE FM, 3NE, STAR FM and 3SR for Mt Buller Ski Resort.

She has completed many courses in radio with training at Melbourne Radio School in; Radio Broadcasting, Radio News, and Voice-Over. After completing these courses, Sarah continued study at Swinburne University, completing a Graduate Diploma of Arts in Commercial Radio Broadcasting. Taking her broadcasting passion one step further, she also has a Masters in Media and Communications (broadcasting & digital content).

You don’t have to look far to notice that broadcasting has an unwavering link to digital content, and both now go hand in hand.

Sarah has since held roles for the ACE Radio Network as a music announcer on MixxFM Horsham as well as a Commercial Producer, Voice-Over Artist, Copy Writer, and Digital Content Producer/Coordinator. After just six months, she found herself moving to Gippsland to take on a Full-Time position at TRFM and GOLD 1242 as a Network Digital Content Producer/Coordinator, Voice-Over Artist and Announcer. In 2012 Sarah and the Digital Content Team at TRFM took home an ACRA for Best Multimedia Execution for ‘The Fast & The Fuel Efficient’ breakfast radio show promotion at the Commercial Radio Australia Awards.

After just over two years with the ACE Network, Sarah left in 2012 to study a Master’s in Media & Communications at Swinburne University Hawthorn as she wanted to gain more skills, with digital content producing, audio and video producing, film capture and editing, audio recording and editing, graphic design, and journalism. While studying for a year in Melbourne, Sarah worked at Triple M & Fox FM as part of the Promotions/Street Team and with ATN as a Traffic Reporter for Sunrise on Seven, and all major radio stations around Australia.

In 2013 Sarah moved to Canberra, to take on the role of Executive Producer of the Rod & Biggzy Breakfast Show on Mix 106.3. Again, Sarah, and her breakfast show hosts Rod & Biggzy, won her second radio industry award for Best Multimedia Execution at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards in 2013.

In January 2014, Sarah moved back to Melbourne and managed three different roles. Digital Content & Entertainment Producer for Authentic Entertainment (Formally MCM), Traffic Reporter for Sunrise on Channel 7, Seven News Melbourne and radio stations across Australia, and could be heard across the ACE Radio Network as an Entertainment Reporter/Producer with daily entertainment news updates.

Sarah has since been working alongside Jake Edwards the CEO of mental health charity Outside The Locker Room, for a weekly podcast where they discuss anything and everything going on in their lives, not shying away from in-depth chats around mental health and personal life experiences. Their chats on their dating lives have been a huge hit.

Sarah not only has the passion for broadcast radio and television, but also behind the scenes in the growing and always changing multimedia world. Her skillset far outweighs the typical expectation of a radio announcer, she can panel, host, produce, edit, present live or pre-recorded content, and capture - edit - produce online content to match for social media, websites and pr.
